VI LASER Wire Stripping Machine is a modern industrial device that uses a high-energy laser beam to non-contactly remove paint, coatings, and rust from metal or plastic surfaces. It is considered a cleaner, more precise, and more substrate-friendly alternative to traditional grinding wheels or chemical paint removal. It consists of a laser generation and optical system, motion and transmission system, control system, vision positioning system, wire fixing device, safety enclosure, cooling system, and dust/fume extraction system. Classified by the number of processing heads, it can be divided into single-head, dual-head, and three-head laser wire stripping machines. Dual-head/three-head models can achieve 360° full paint removal to improve efficiency.

The laser stripping principle utilizes the difference in light absorption rate between the enamel resin layer and the wire core of the enameled wire to achieve rapid removal and stripping of the enamel film without damaging the wire core. The resin layer of enameled wire is mainly composed of polymer materials. Under UV light irradiation, these materials undergo photochemical reactions, causing molecular chain scission, cross-linking, or vaporization, thereby gradually degrading the resin layer of the enameled wire. In addition, the heat generated by the UV laser also affects the resin layer of the enameled wire. The heat may cause a localized temperature increase, accelerating the degradation of polymer materials.
